Notre événement rassemble pendant 14 jours des artistes belges et internationaux pour célébrer la sculpture monumentale en pierre bleue de Sprimont. Nous vous invitons à nous transmettre votre candidature, vos références et quelques photos du prototype de votre projet pour cette édition 2026.

La pierre bleue de Sprimont est un calcaire formé il y a environ 350 000 millions d’années caractérisé par la présence de très nombreux débris de crinoïdes donnant cet aspect scintillant à la pierre.

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 32nd edition of the Sprimont Stone Sculpture Festival. Over the course of 14 days, Belgian and international artists come together to create and celebrate monumental sculptures in Sprimont blue stone. Artists are invited to submit their application for the 2026 edition, including a portfolio, relevant references, and a selection of images presenting a prototype or concept of the proposed project. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026. We look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be an unforgettable artistic experience. Sprimont blue stone is a limestone formed approximately 350 million years ago. It is distinguished by the abundance of crinoid fossils embedded within it, which give the stone its characteristic shimmering appearance.
